ExciteR Insecticide with piperonyl butoxide (PBO) is was formulated with a pyrethroid pesticide to enhance the effectiveness and control. If PBO were not used, an insect could possibly breakdown the pesticide before it is effective. The use of PBO reduces the amount of pesticide necessary for effective control. PBO allows this pesticide to provide immediate "knock-down control" when spraying or fogging. Research indicates that PBO is short-lived in the environment and has a low to moderate potential to contaminate groundwater when used properly. PBO is moderately toxic to fish and is low to very low in toxicity to birds.

ExciteR Insecticide can also be mixed with residual insecticides to increase their knockdown power. ExciteR Insecticide is for the control ants, armyworms, billbug, chiggers, chinch bug, cricket, cutworm, earwig, fleas, lice, grasshopper, japanese beetle, mole cricket, sod webworm, ticks, turfgrass weevil and flying insects.
